Timur Daurbekov, a representative of Ingushetia Republic to Tyumen region, said that the owner of the house where alleged self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) fighters were killed in Tyumen was not a ‘remarkable’ person, in his interview in Tyumen on Sunday.
Daurbekov said that Timur Inalov, the alleged house owner, was just like all of his peers and was never aggressive.
“He never had any extraordinary ideas, he was just like others. He wanted to look brutal, to be independent, and to find his place in life,” stressed Daurbekov.
Daurbekov added that, according to Inalov’s relatives, his life mostly consisted of his work at a car repair shop and home.
On Friday night, two suspected Islamic State fighters were killed in return fire in a suburban home in the western Siberian city of Tyumen.
The Federal Security Service said they were planning to carry out a ‘terror attack’ in the local area.
No victims were reported among civilians during the operation.
