Environment campaigners ‘Extinction Rebellion’ take to the streets of London on Monday, April 15, to demand that governments take necessary action on the global climate and ecological emergency.

The activist group plans nonviolent blockades around the clock over multiple days in some of London’s most iconic locations, including Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Waterloo Bridge and Piccadilly Circus.

Called ‘International Rebellion,’ the event also takes place in other cities around the world, such as Auckland, Mexico City, Vancouver and New York City.
